This task was very puzzling and tricky but I managed to get it done, I enjoyed having to find which ones form a proper cube and not an odd cube.
Maths Term 3 week 3
Today we had to name 3d Shapes, some we didn’t even know the name of.
Maths 2023 term 3 week 3
This week we’ve been learning how to add up to 360 or 180. This is a fun little task to do and I enjoyed it.
What are 3D shapes
This week our focus to Identify the properties of a 3D shape like a cube, Cylinder or sphere. We had to show the details of he shape and then we had to do the volume of the shape.
Shape, Shape, Severus Shape
This was a task based on angle, shapes, Polygons. This was a easy and simple task that helped us settle into the hardships of maths. I enjoyed because we had to find shapes through out the world.
The Polygon
Today we had to learn about different types of Polygons. This was fun because I got another recap on shapes that I may have not heard of before.
The Triangle
These slides gives us a recap on the angles of triangles. This was a good recap because it also had information on different angles. This was fun to do and I enjoyed the joke at the beginning.
Made to measure
Today in class we learnt how to do Hypotenuse we also learn’t a bit about the man who founded it, Pythagoras. We got some questions on fractions as well. We also converted units of Measurement from Millimetres to Centimetres to Metres and finally Kilometres.
Versatlle Volume
Today we learnt how to measure volume and what volume is. We also learn’t how to calculate the area of a triangle and the volume of 3D shapes. I enjoyed doing this task because it helped me remember hot to find the perimeter and area of shapes.
Marvellous measurement
Today, we we went back to doing perimeter and area as our maths task with recaps on fraction and decimal. We got a recap on measuring perimeter and area as well and learn’t something new well the yr 7’s did.
